President's Corner
100 Years! A century of good turns, merit badges, camping, and outdoor adventure. That's a pretty impressive record for any organization and I am proud to be a part of Cape Cod & Islands Council as we celebrate our first century and make plans to carry us into the second.
We are fortunate to have Tim Millar as our celebration chairman. With the support of Erica Waasdorp, John Follas, and ultimately all of us, we can look forward to a purpose driven celebration that will improve the quality of program, create a stronger public perception of scouting on the Cape and Islands, and prepare us to move boldly and confidently into the next hundred years.
I look forward to seeing many of you at our annual recognition dinner and celebration kickoff on February 8th. You will learn many of the exciting plans that are in place and how you can participate and make them even better.
