Your Son Deserves Trained Leaders
To ensure our Scouts get the very best program we can deliver, all leaders in Scouting need to be trained in their specific positions. And trained leaders are the first criterion for the Quality Unit Award. There are two very important training courses coming in February.
- Scoutmaster/Assistant Scoutmaster Specific is required for Boy Scout leaders to be classified as "trained", 8 Hours, $25.00, Feb 13.
- Trainer Development (a.k.a. EDGE) is required of all Scouters participating as pack trainers or council training staff, 5 Hours, No Charge, Feb 27.
Both are Saturday courses being held at the Council Service Center with check at 8:30 am.
Don't wait to sign up. We can't plan material if we don't know you're coming. And if you wait until the eleventh hour to sign up, the course may have already been cancelled for lack of participants.
