Internet Recharter Training
The charter renewal process is simply a manual inventory of active members, verification of member directory information, and acquiring signatures of the chartering organization’s Executive Officer and the Unit Leader. The process is the responsiblity of the unit committee chair. Every unit must have a volunteer charter renewal processor, comfortable in a Windows environment, to perform the data entry task and to print the updated roster and charter renewal application. The committee chair then acquires the requisite signatures and submits the application and fees to the Council Service Center at least two weeks prior to the curent charter expiration date.
Unit access codes for 2012 Internet Charter Renewal will be given to trained processors. Processors and unit committee chairs unable to attend the December 5th training may call the Council Service Center for alternate scheduling.
