Cape Cod & Islands Council has committed to sending one Troop (36 Scouts and 4 adults) and one Venturing Patrol (9 Scouts and 1 adults).

Current status (as of 6/25/2017): We currently have 43 Scouts registered for the Jamboree. We have 2 spot open for the troop. After those spots are filled, we will take applications for the waiting list. Please register online at http://www.bsajamboree.org. You can contact the Council Office with any questions.

Estimated Cost: The estimated cost of attending the 2017 Jamboree is $1,800. The price includes round-trip transportation by bus or van, the National Jamboree fee, meals, troop and patrol equipment, accident and sickness insurance, troop numbers, position patches, 2 t-shirts, Jamboree Council Shoulder Patches and a Jamboree duffel bag (for those who registered by June 30, 2016). You may also have additional costs for uniforms and other personal gear.

Whitewater Rafting and Release Form:

For those Scouts who signed up for whitewater rafting, there's an additional release form. This is because the rafting is not run by the BSA. Please download, print and complete the release form and turn it in at the meeting or into the council office.

Health Forms:

Jamboree Health Form

Online health forms were due on April 19th. Please try to submit your health form online as soon as possible. I know that, in some cases, you're waiting for a doctors appointment. We also need to collect a copy of the health form and insurance cards as a backup and to have them should anything happen during our travels to and from the Jamboree. You can bring the copy to the meeting or mail it to or drop it by the council office and let them know it's for the Jamboree.

The instructions for completing the health form can be found here:

If you're having trouble submitting your health form online, please contact Mr. Bruce or Mr. LaRuffa for assistance.
