for boys and girls age 11-14

Ultimate Greenough is a co-ed summer program for youth 11-14 years old. Ultimate Greenough, provides an outdoor, action packed day for girls and boys. Some of the activities offered will be: learn outdoor survival skills, fire building, shooting sports, swimming, use of climbing tower and zip line! Make friends, and build self-confidence that will last a life time.

Overview: This program has been created specifically for girls & boys 11-14 years old. Participants have fun developing outdoor skills. No experience required.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 AM to 4PM.

Structure: Participants are organized into groups of 6 to 10 for activities and projects.

Program: The program content is based on outdoor learning opportunities including: fire building, wilderness survival, climbing, shooting, cooking, kayaking, and pioneering. Program consultants such as Natural Resources Officers, will enhance the program. The program is planned so learning is a natural outcome of the activities.

Location: Camp Greenough will be the location for activities. The activity field and kickapoo campsite are dedicated to this program. This location is relatively close to the main part of camp, but is still isolated from the Cub Scout Day Camp and Project North star. Of course the nature of the program will require travel throughout the camp to use different facilities.

Staff: Male and female staff will ensure every participant has the best experience possible. Program Director and assistants have completed training in leadership, first aid, and youth protection.

Cost: The fee will be $190 per person/per week. If registering online, payment must be made in full. If registering by mail, a $50 per week deposit is required with registration. Payment in full is required by June 15th.
