Family Camp at Camp Greenough

A super weekend of family fun at beautiful Camp Greenough! Swimming, boating, archery, bb-gun shooting, biking and more! Bring your tent or self-contained camper, sleeping bag, toothbrush, swimsuit, and personal gear and we'll take care of the rest! Limited shelters and tents are available, first come, first served. Campsites will accommodate multiple families. Sorry, no pets.

The Council will offer two full weekends of Family Camping in 2010. Each Weekend Cost is $30 per person, maximum of $120 per immediate family, and includes all meals!

Sample Weekend Schedule

Friday

• 6-8 PM Check-in, set up camp
• 8:30 PM Movie and free popcorn at our "walk-in" outdoor theater (Parade Field). Bring a blanket or pad to sit on. (Dining Hall if threatening weather.)
• 10:00 PM Return to campsites.

Saturday

• 8:00 AM Breakfast: French toast, bacon, cereal, juice, coffee, milk
• 8:30 AM Flag Raising, Parade Field
• 9 - Noon Open Areas: swimming, boating, biking, archery, bb-gun
• 12 Noon Lunch: Sandwiches, chips, fruit, bug juice, cookies
• 1:00 PM Special presentation for all campers
• 2-5 PM Open areas
• 5:30 PM Flag Retreat at Parade Field
• 6:00 PM Supper: Pasta and meat sauce, tossed salad, bread and butter, milk, coffee, dessert
• 7:30 PM Non-denominational Vesper Service: Chapel
• 8:30 PM Campfire at Council Ring
• 9:00 PM (Or at end of campfire) Snack in Dining Hall
• 10:00 PM Return to Campsites

Sunday

• 8:00 AM Breakfast: Pancakes, sausage, cereal, juice, milk, coffee
• 8:30 AM Flag Raising at Parade Field
• 9 -10:30 Open Areas
• 10:30-11 Check out and head for home

You will receive a confirmation and information package shortly after we receive your registration.

An Annual Health and Medical Record for each person must be completed and turned in upon arrival at camp.
