Celebrate 100 Years of Scouting at the Barnstable County Fairgrounds!

This is our once in a lifetime opportunity to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Scouting with non-stop fun, games, challenges and adventure!

We want your family to have a fun and safe experience. BSA pack family camping rules apply. A BALOO-trained adult must camp with Cub Scout packs and should help plan the camping experience. Troops, Crews, Ships and Posts may camp as units. The public is invited to see Scouts in action, so please plan to be in uniform.

Gate #6 will be open for campsite setup after 3:00 PM on Friday. Vehicles may drive in to unload gear at their campsite and immediately proceed to the designated parking area. Only pre-authorized handicap-tagged vehicles will permitted to remain on the Fairgrounds.

Registration Cost is $12 per participant (includes all BSA registered youth and adult members whether camping or attending for the day). Pre-registration through the Council Service Center is required by May 14th. Campsites will be assigned upon arrival with each unit assigned an 80'x80' space. Sorry,
 No pets
 No alcohol
 No smoking (in the vicinity of youth)

Open fires are not permitted at the county fairgrounds. Propane stoves may be used for campsite cooking. Be fire safe. Keep stoves and lanterns away from tents. The Order of the Arrow will be providing meal service at reasonable prices throughout the weekend.

First Aid staff will be available at clearly-marked locations throughout the fairgrounds. Unit first aid kits should be able to handle most minor injuries. All others should be referred to first aid staff. Please do not call 9-1-1- for anything but the most extreme, time-critical emergency.

Be Prepared for any weather. There is no rain date for Chuckwagon Derby and the camporee will go on rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, designated shelters will posted.

Each Scout and leader must have a current Medical Form, and Scouts not accompanied by a parent or guardian must have a permission slip.

The Order of the Arrow will conduct a Call Out ceremony to recognize and orient all newly elected candidates and prepare them for induction into the order on June 5th.
