Greenough Scout Reservation Facilities
Rules & Regulations
The leader in charge must check in at the Ranger
or Camp Master residence immediately upon arrival. The leader is required
to notify the Ranger or Camp Master before departure to perform an
inspection of the area used before the group leaves.
The principles of the Scout Oath and law are the
general rules of the camp. Specifically, each unit is responsible for
abiding by the following:
- Building and grounds must be left clean and all trash removed. Use
the dumpster adjacent to the Dining Hall.
- All vehicles must park in designated areas, limit of two (2) vehicles
per site.
- No live trees may be cut.
- Smoking in buildings, use of alcohol or drugs on Council property
is prohibited.
- All units are responsible for property damage.
- No trespassing in buildings or campsites other than those authorized
in application.
- No firearms of any kind in camp.
- Only with qualified adult supervision and permission of the Ranger
or Camp Master swimming, boating, fishing, or skating is permissible
at Greenough Pond (for fishing a Massachusetts fishing license is required).
- Report any emergencies requiring community services or injuries requiring
medical attention to the Ranger or Camp Master.
- Fires must be carefully supervised and extinguished before leaving
the site.
- No pets.
