3 Day Mini Treks & One Day Adventures
for
young adults ages 13 and over
 Three-Day
Mini-Treks will feature
many of the same experiences as a full maritime high
adventure trek
abbreviated for
Scouts, Venturing Crews and leaders with other summer
commitments. Scheduled to run July 6-9 and 9-12,
overlapping treks will depart Greenough on Sunday
afternoon, returning
Wednesday morning and then Wednesday afternoon returning
Saturday morning. Using mountain bikes and kayaks for
transportation, trek crews will launch at Gray's Beach
to kayak across Barnstable Harbor where they will camp
on Sandy Neck. Treks may include swimming, fishing,
a whale watch and a ride on the scenic railway. 3-Day
treks
will be priced at $200 for in-council Scouts and $250
for out-of-council. Participants must be at least 13
years old, pass the BSA Swimmer requirements, and may
sign up individually or as a group.
 One-Day
Adventure programs for Boy Scouts and Venturers
every Wednesday from July 2 through August 6 will
feature a full day of activities in and out of camp.
Activities may include biking, kayaking, and low
and high C.O.P.E. The day program will cost $40.
